Boys of Summer: Week 13

All right everyone, this is it! Our last week of Boys of Summer! It’s been fun, BUT, summer is almost over and with fall tv coming back (Fear the Walking Dead tonight), we felt it was time to wrap it up. Enjoy!

Rupert Friend – Rupert is on one of my favorite shows, Homeland, but he’s been around for a minute! Coming up, he’s playing Agent 47 in Hitman. I can’t lie, though. I miss Quinn.

David Ramsey – Ramsey is currently on Arrow, that’s where he caught our attention. Previously he was on the series Blue Bloods. Upcoming, he has Legends of Tomorrow.

Hugh Dancy – I love Bryan Fuller’s adaptation of Hannibal. I’m so sad that NBC has canceled the show. Hugh has been a fantastic Will Graham, but, before that he’s been in several great movies. Dancy can be seen in the upcoming TV series, The Way. Let’s just hope, though, that he has more Hannibal in his future…

John Barrowman – Dr. Who’s Captain Jack! You know you love him! He even went on to the spinoff, Torchwood. John is currently working on Arrow!

Lee Pace – Lee is such a nerd. I love it. He’s done both serious and fun roles, and I always feel that he gives 1000% to every character he plays. I loved him as Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy, but his first show, Pushing Daisies, will probably always be my favorite. Poor Bryan Fuller, people just don’t get his creative genius. You can catch Lee on the tv series, Halt and Catch Fire.

Chiwetel Ejiofor – Chiwetel has been in everything worth seeing. Most notably, though, are his roles in 12 Years a Slave, American Gangster, Serenity, and Love, Actually. His upcoming projects are legion, though. I am most excited to see Chi in The Martian and (SO EXCITED) as Baron Mordo in Marvel’s Doctor Strange!!

It’s been a great summer!

  1. Oh yes it has!

I have been giddily girl crushing like a ten yr. old over Lee Pace, John and Chewitel, since I first saw them.
It’s hilarious! No matter how old i get, some actors just have the capacity to reduce me to a squealing pre-teen.
